Forbidden Games - A Modern

There is an unsettling quiet that lingers long after the storms of history have passed. It is not the silence of peace, but the heavy stillness of a world trying to remember how to breathe. Out of this solemn landscape comes an extraordinary sonic document—a haunting reflection on resilience, innocence, and the quiet dignity of survival.

From the opening arpeggios, the music paints a stark, vivid portrait. We find ourselves standing on shattered ground, where silver dust floats through the morning light and children build fragile kingdoms out of broken stones. Central to this narrative is the solitary pilgrim—a traveler who offers no empty sermons, but simply bows his head in silent prayer.

[Verse 1 ]
Silver dust dancing in the morning light,
Falling on the ruins of a sleepless night.
No wooden blocks, no painted toys,
Only broken stones for the girls and boys.
They build a castle where a home once stood,
Gathering fragments the best they could.
Stone upon stone, without a sound,
A little kingdom on shattered ground.

No one tells them what was here.
No one teaches them to fear.
Morning shines the same as yesterday,
While innocence keeps sorrow away.

Forbidden games in a land of ash,
Dreams still bloom through the broken past.
Jagged towers against the sky,
Where hope refuses to say goodbye.
Under the sun,
Where the dust turns gold.

[Verse 2 ]
Along the road, a pilgrim walked,
With weathered robes and quiet thoughts.
He watched the children from afar,
Building dreams beneath the scars.
He raised no hand to end their play,
Nor stole their fragile hope away.
He simply bowed beneath the sky,
And carried silence in his eyes.

The wind remembered every name.
The stones remembered every flame.
Only the children knew no war—
Only today.
The pilgrim closed his eyes…
And prayed.

Forbidden games in a land of ash,
Dreams still bloom through the broken past.
Jagged towers against the sky,
May tomorrow be more kind.
Under the sun,
Where the dust turns gold.

The pilgrim walked beyond the hill.
His prayer remained behind.
May their laughter outlive the echoes of war.
