Every soul must answer for the life they've lived.
No crown shines here.
No army marches here.
Only truth.
Verse 1
A king walked proud in a robe of gold,
His hands were clean—
or so he'd always been told.
He smiled at the Judge,
without fear or shame.
"I built an empire.
Surely Heaven knows my name."
Verse 2
The Judge said nothing.
He simply raised one weathered hand.
"Before I answer…
look behind you."
The king turned slowly.
Verse 3
There they stood.
Children.
Mothers.
Old men.
Farmers.
A silent sea of faces.
No swords.
No voices.
Only empty eyes
that remembered everything.
Chorus
The king whispered,
"They were the price…
of history."
The Judge replied,
"No.
They were people."
Verse 4
"You counted borders.
He counted heartbeats.
You counted victories.
He counted graves."
The king reached for his crown.
It had become
nothing but dust.
Final Verse
"You expected feathers,
soft beds,
golden gates."
"But every step you climbed
was built upon another soul."
The Judge lifted the staff.
"There is no throne
waiting for you."
"Only the fire
you built yourself."

The gate below opened.
The ghosts never moved.
They only watched
as the king walked alone
into the darkness.
