I just wrote down the Kenshin Uesugi inside me.
Uesugi Kenshin was a legendary Japanese warlord (daimyo) who ruled Echigo Province during the Sengoku period (the Warring States period) in the 16th century.
Here are the key points to know about him:
The "God of War": He is famous for his incredible military genius. He was deeply religious and believed he was the avatar of Bishamonten, the Buddhist god of war.
The Famous Rivalry: His legendary battles against another powerful warlord, Takeda Shingen, are among the most famous conflicts in Japanese history (especially the Battles of Kawanakajima).
A Man of Honor: Unlike many ruthless warlords of his time, Kenshin valued honor and justice. A famous legend says that when his rival Shingen ran out of salt (a vital resource), Kenshin sent him salt, stating he fought with the sword, not with starvation. This is the origin of the Japanese idiom "sending salt to the enemy."
Cultural Icon: He loved poetry, sake, and strategy. Today, he is highly respected in Japan as a symbol of chivalry and martial excellence.
In short, he was one of the most powerful, honorable, and fascinating samurai leaders in Japan's history.

[Verse 1]
